MUST HAVE A RESIDENT DOG. Hello Sweetie Pie! KIEFER is a 8 month old, 40 lbs., retriever/shepherd mix melting hearts with his adorable looks and sweet, fun-loving nature. KIEFER has been in a foster home learning all his puppy lessons and he's doing great. His foster family shares the following: 'Kiefer has a playful, friendly, submissive, affectionate, loving, and fun-loving personality. He is a social butterfly and loves to be around people and other dogs! He loves everyone he meets and will generously gives kisses and roll over for belly rubs. He loves to play by himself or with anyone who is willing. He loves toys and always takes one outside with him and into his crate at night. When playing with other dogs he loves running around them and over them. He might make a great agility dog... he loves to jump over things. He is generally a quiet dog except when he is playing or needs to go outside. Kiefer is very smart and he knows his name, some basic commands, always comes when called, and he's housebroken, crate and leash trained and has good house manners for a puppy. He will make an awesome, loving companion to some lucky family.' KIEFER is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. He is not neutered. His adoption fee is $575.00 and includes a spay/neuter fee. Please note that training is highly recommended for all young dogs. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing.
