About Sweetie

Meet Sweetie Sweetie was picked up as a stray, along with her Mother and sister. All three were nursed back to health and are ready for their forever homes. Sweetie is painfully shy. Just no other way to describe her. It may be that she was not handled at all as a puppy, and did not become accustomed to being handled. She greets you by crouching in a low stance and tail tucked. With time, she warms up and soon begins to wag her tail in greeting. With much love and patience she will grow into a great companion pet. Age 1 year. Weight 37 pounds. Because of her nervous nature, we are recommending a home without young, unpredictable children. She walks fairly nice on a leash. Barks at new sights and sounds, but then stops. Enjoys romping in the yard, and you can see her white tipped tail at attention checking fence line. A true hound! Micro-chipped. Heart-worm negative. Fully vaccinated and on heart-worm prevention. Transportation can be arranged. We are not exactly sure what breed Sweetie is, but, her mom is a full pit. Sweetie is much smaller than her mom and she is almost a year old so we don't think she will grow much more. Her sister has some markings of a blue tick hound.
