About Shia

Adoption Fee: $350
Harrier mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Dapper, Shy & Sweet, everyone meet #Shia. Our baby boy Shai has overcome so much since our rescue family rescued him from a hoarding situation. Shia was severely neglected, undernourished & unsocialized. It took a huge toll on him and left him being fearful at times, but since he has come into rescue he has started to flourish. Shia is a 2 year old #Herrier mix, who weights in at 45lbs. When Shia first came to us to he was very skittish and quiet. But with a few days, he started to thrive with our other Dog. Now he has found his place in our pack and has become very playful and loving. And boy does he love to cuddle. Since Shia discovered what toys were, he has become absolutely obsessed with his rope toy. He does phenomenal with other dogs and has not expressed much interest in cats, as we have 2. He's 100% potty trained, crate trained, but needs some work becoming comfortable on a leash and car rides. He is super loving, very attentive and eager to please. Shia is as an absolute cuddle bug. Attitude is everything. I know Shia is a very intelligent dog a will thrive with training. He likes to play with tennis and rubber balls even on his own without a partner. Shia is like Mr. go Comedy and can also make some pretty goofy noises. His floppy ears and big brown eyes would make anyone fall in love and this handsome man right here definitely knows how to put a smile on your face. Adoption Fee & Medical: His adoption fee is $350 and will include his Distemper, Lepto, Parvo, Bordetella, Rabies, current Heartworm Test, Deworming, Fecal Test, Microchip & being neutered. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: No Exceptions - No Apartments - Fenced in yard is Required (An Invincible Fence is NOT Acceptable, due to him being #Fearful) - Adopter must have another dog in home for Shia to bond with - No kids under 13, due to him being fearful of loud noises - Training: His adopter must attend a minimum of 1 series of ONLY 'Force Free Training Courses.'
