The shelter staff think I am about 7 years old, and I have been at the shelter since June 16, 2020. Kyra has been added to Urgent Medical. She has multiple ulcerated and non ulcerated masses, and will need to be seen by an outside veterinarian to diagnose and determine a treatment plan. Kyra is a sweet and friendly little girl who walks well on a leash, and allows all petting and handling. She may have some animal aggression issues. She has a wiggly body, and soft eyes. She is easy to leash, takes treats gently, and likes to go to the play yard and explore. Kyra is shy and slightly cautious, but came to handler for petting/attention, leaned into petting, rested head against handler to solicit more petting. She returned to kennel without issue; no dog-dog assessment has been done due to her medical issues. Please consider this gentle little creature for you next furry family member. Be a hero.
