About Cookie

Cookie is known as a love bug. She is currently at the Petsmart enclosures in Canoga Park & all the volunteer caregivers love her. They say she is so sweet & adorable & loves attention. At my house, she will come in as I watch TV and walk back and forth at my feet waiting for me to scratch her ears and pet her. She will look up at me and softly meow. Occasionally I can even pick her up and put her on my shoulder for a minute or two. Then she jumps down only to return in a few minutes. And, of course, she always accompanies me to the bathroom in case I get lonely in there. I can approach her quietly (& say her name) while she is awake sitting on the bed to pet her. But, at this point, she is not a lap cat nor is she the type of cat that you can just run up to and pick up. Perhaps, with time, she will be. She loves ear & chin rubs & brushing. She has a soft meow & cute habit of eating with her paws. Cookie has a cute head tilt-she looks like she is asking a question. Her soft fur is grey and white and her eyes are green. She is medium sized. Although she is an adult (she is 12 years old), she is very kitten like in nature. She loves to play with her toy mouse-she will toss it high in the air, catch it and off she runs. If you can offer this sweet kitty a home with a gentle approach, please consider her. She is currently in a foster home thru a rescue group. Available to LA area homes only.
