About Ruby

Hi, my name is Ruby! I am a 10 lb, spayed, female Chiweenie and will be 8 years old in August. My humans got me when I was 4 months old and I really love them. Unfortunately, they have a toddler and a baby on the way that are unpredictable and cause me to be fearful, anxious and nip because I'm scared. I really prefer a calm, quiet home with adults only who will let me snuggle and sit on their lap. I do suffer from separation and stranger anxiety and do not enjoy being left alone for long periods of time. My ideal home would have a human home most of the day. I am housebroken and crate-trained but prefer to not be left in my crate for long periods of time. I am pretty low key but still enjoy car rides and outdoor walks. My humans are very sad that they cannot keep me, but with a growing family, they know that what's best for me is to find a nice, quiet home. If you're looking for a companion who wants to be on your lap or by your side all the time, I'm your pup!
