About Gracie

Adoption Fee: $350
French Bulldog
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Please read this entire post & read the adoption requirements Ears for days, absolutely stunning & sassier then sassy, everyone meet- #GracieLou. She's a 7 year old #FrenchBulldog who can be a troublemaker at times, but the biggest lover at the same time. Gracie needs a calm laidback home and only wants love on her own terms- so she's basically a cat. She loves to lounge around all day and enjoys her daily walks. Gracie Lou loves to play and can be very vocal. Gracie loves to taunt and chance the cat currently in her foster home, but we catch them cuddling on the bed sometimes together. She's great with other dogs her size or bigger, but can be dog selective and can be an instigator at times. Gracie is 100% potty trained (Will pee when not watched), 100% crate trained and great on a leash. Adoption Requirements: No Exceptions - Gracie would thrive best with a single owner & does have a bite history! - Gracie needs consistent structure and must be crated when the owner isn't home. When she is coddled, she take control of the home. She needs an experienced pet owner. - No kids under 18 (No exceptions) so if you're planning to have kids anytime in the next 6-8 years please don't waste your time applying. -Gracie can be reactivate when she doesn't get her way. She needs an experienced dog owner who can understand her verbal and nonverbal communication. Adoption Fee & Medical: Gracie is currently up for adoption through Lending A Helping Paw Dog Rescue. Her adoption fee is $350 and will include his Distemper, Lepto, Parvo, Bordetella, Rabies, Deworming, Fecal Test, Microchip & her spay. - We kindly ask that you please wait to ask any questions until the phone interview. ***PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE POST & FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS**** With the Covid-19 Pandemic going on we are still doing adoptions, but please remember that we are all volunteers and safety comes first. With our rescue being based in the Metro Detroit area, all prospective adopters must live within the state of Michigan (which means No out of state adoptions). Please remember we are not a shelter and are 100% foster based. Once you submit your application, it may take up to 2 weeks for us to get back to you. So please be patient with us. Again, we kindly ask that you please read the entire post to answer your questions. If you cannot follow the instructions properly, we will skip your application and move onto the next one. We kindly ask that you save any questions, comments or concerns for the phone interview. We kindly ask the following: No phone calls, No pm's, & No multiple emails- We are all volunteers and promise to get back to you within a timely fashion! Lending A Helping Paw Dog Rescue; previously known as the PRO-PET-OTIC Foundation, is a 100% Foster-Based Rescue that is ran by all Volunteers. Which means that we are not a shelter & each animal is in an actual home with a foster family. We kindly ask that you put any questions within the email & our team of Volunteers will get back to you. With the overwhelming amount of emails please be patient with our 100% volunteer family and we will get back to you. The application MUST BE filled out, a Vet Check MUST BE completed by our team, as well as a phone interview before we do a 'Meet N Greet.' Vet Checks: When adopting through our rescue, we 'ALWAYS' do a vet check on each applicant's pets that they have owned over the past 10 years. Please make sure to call your vet to grant them permission to release this information to our rescue. That being said, all of the animals in each applicant's home must be UTD on all of their vaccines (DHLPP & Rabies), an UTD Heartworm Test, & currently on both Flea & Tick, as well as Heartworm Prevention. So please make sure that when you are applying that all of your current animals go to the vet that is listed. How To Apply: If you're interested in adopting one of our available dogs: 1. Email [email protected] with the dogs name as the subject when you ask for the adoption application. 2. Once you have completed the application, please print it out, fill it out, scan it, & then email it back to [email protected]. If you do not have a scanner, please take a picture with your phone and we kindly ask that you sent all attachments into one email. 3. Please make sure to call your vet to grant our organization permission to do a vet check on your current pet. 4. If you are interested in more than one dog, please list your top 3 choices on the completed application. 5. Please be honest & truthful on your application. We always do a vet Check. We always do a home visit. And we always have both the prospective families & dogs best interest at heart!
