About Bruce

Bruce is an 8 yr old chihuahua/beagle mix that weighs about 11 lbs. An ideal weight for him would be 14-15 lbs. We believe he is mixed with beagle because when he does bark, it sounds like a howl a beagle would make. He was rescued from a high kill shelter as a stray, so we don't have any real history on him. He's a bit shy when you first meet him, but once he knows you, he's very sweet. He loves any attention you give him and loves to snuggle. He's great around big or small dogs, doesn't play with them, just happily co-exists. He doesn't play with toys and is very mellow. He does not walk well on leash but his Foster Mom is working with him. We think he was left in a backyard, not given much attention and never walked.
