About Stella

Stella is around 6 years old and was returned to rescue after her family could no longer care for her. She is such a sweet and loyal dog, but struggles with confidence and living with other dogs (which she does in her foster home). This is what her foster mom has to say 'Stella is super shy and can take days to warm up to someone. She has never lived in a home with dogs and finds it stressful and in reality, doesn't understand how to, and I'm not sure how fair it is to ask her to at almost 6. On the plus side, she is sweet and loyal to her people once she knows them. She knows all her basics commands, is crate trained, and loves walks and being outside, her favorite thing is to lay on the deck and watch the deer on the lawn as they walk by.' Stella would do great in an adult home with no other dogs. She is a homebody at heart, in search of another homebody to share her life with. Stella needs her own special person in order to be her best self. Please consider giving this sweet girl a second chance.
