About Oola

Lab mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Oola is an 8-month-old busy little girl that adores people. This pretty and unique Labrador mix has a beautiful face, stunning eyes, a white and brown patch on her chest, various colors of brown and cream throughout her body and white slippers on her back feet. When out walking people comment on how beautiful she is and ask her breed. Oola weighs 38 pounds and has a big appetite but her young shape looks fox like. She is smart, very alert and treat motivated. She is reliably house broken, and crate trained. Oola is a big cuddler, she may be a little fearful at first meeting, but she will quickly be handing out kisses, and snuggling up to you. She loves to jump up and settle in your lap. Her foster parents are working from home and she loves to sit in their lap while they are working, an excellent assistant. Her family needs to be able to shower her with love, attention, and affection. As with all young dogs she will need consistent direction and obedience training. She is particularly good on a leash and not a big puller, but she does like to sniff along the way. She finds pretty much everything interesting. She is not fond of small dogs, and when on a leash she greets other dogs with a mighty bark. The foster is working on positively refocusing her when she does this. Oola loves loves loves people of all ages and is very affectionate. She would love to join a family on hikes and outings but will need to continue with her obedience to become more polite to other dogs she meets along the trail. She is young and will need a person or family that will continue to work on her socialization. Oola would probably prefer to be an only dog if she had her way and be your absolute best friend. She could also do well with a older bigger fur sibling. She was used to cats in her previous household. This sweet girl does not need to be left alone for long periods of time; she will need a fenced back yard to run off some of her puppy energy and to enjoy time exploring. She has a natural pointing instinct when something piques her interest. Oola is spayed, heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, on preventatives and microchipped.
