About Sadie

****PLEASE READ THIS FULLY BEFORE CONTACTING ME! I WILL NOT BE RESPONDING TO ANYONE THAT DOES NOT READ THIS!**** Sadie is my mom's dog. My mom passed away two weeks ago in a car accident, leaving Sadie to me. My mom was addicted to meth the last decade of her life. Sadie had only ever known my mom on drugs. I don't believe my mom meant to treat her badly, she just wasn't able to care for her like she should've been. I am physically disabled and rely heavily on my husband to do most things for me. He works full time in addition to taking care of me. Neither of us have the time or energy to give Sadie the attention she needs. She's a handful. My mom refused to discipline her and create any kind of stability in her life. She's aggressive towards anyone and anything she's unfamiliar with. However I do believe if someone could take the time to work with her, her behavior can change. She's very energetic and affectionate. She's also fiercely protective. She seems to respond well to men who command her rather than women. My cousin seems interested in taking her, however he's in a poor situation himself. I am afraid that she will have to be put to sleep if I'm unable to find her a home. I don't want her to be used for breeding or fighting either. Please if anyone is willing, I prefer texts rather than calls. Thank you for taking the time to read this. ***EDIT*** - Please be aware that when I say Sadie is aggressive, I mean to the extreme. She does have a history of attacking and biting multiple people, and she's gotten into just as many fights with other dogs. My mom did not treat her aggression like it was a bad thing. In fact she treated it like the opposite, and wanted Sadie to be vicious. I have an upcoming appointment with a reputable professional dog trainer that has dealt with aggressive dogs. I'm hoping to get a good evaluation on her. If you are indeed interested in her, please keep in mind what you're signing up for! I cannot take her back once she leaves my home.
