About Fred

This is Fred! He'll win you over with those baby blues!!! He's a cuddly 75LBS lap dog and loves his chew toys, chasing his ball, and playing tug of war! It will take a second for him to warm but when he does he's such a fun companion. If you like goofy and affectionate dogs he's you're guy! He loves hikes, going to the beach, dipping his toes in the water, and playing in the sand! He also has a lazy side so don't be fooled, he'll curl up in the couch with you after a long walk! He walks great on leash but is cautious of strangers. He knows 'sit' 'wait' 'come' and is also crate trained (though he'd much prefer to cuddle up with you). A fenced back yard is ideal for him so he can have outdoor play time with no stress of strangers. Secure 6 foot fence required (not a chain link) He walked okay around one dog on leash but tends to pull when he sees other big dogs. For now he should be the ONLY dog in the house and no dogs parks. He has done 'okay' with his fosters cat but does tend to get in her space. He needs to be monitored closely around cats and taught to respect their space. He cannot be around other animals unsupervised, so for now he should be the ONLY pet. He is fearful of men, but is doing much better with socialization with men.
