This little guy is Bandit, but prefers to go by his Spanish name 'Benito Santiago'. He is a 1.5 year old 'Chiweenie' Chihuahua/Dachshund (wiener) mix, weighing 8.7 lbs. is up-to-date on his shots and has recently been neutered. He is a breeder release from down South, which means he was used for breeding purposes. He had very little socialization and was initially very apprehensive of humans. After getting much love from his foster parents, he now absolutely LOVES humans and loves to sleep in between his parents. He follows his foster momma everywhere and is extremely sweet. We are still working on potty training (since he spent most of his short life outdoors), he is very smart and is a quick learner. Benito needs a home with no small children, as he can sometimes be a little snippy if picked up abruptly, and preferably one or no dogs (he doesn't care too much about cats). Benito needs a lot of love and patience as he learns what it's like to be an indoor dog because he will have some accidents. Benito needs a fenced yard and preferably someone who will not kennel him given he spent a lot of his life in a kennel already so it scares him to be in one. He has A LOT of love to give, he just needs someone willing to receive it and give him just as much love back! Benito is being fostered in Madison WI. Apply to meet Benito (officially Bandit) today!
