About Hank

This country boy can survive! Hank was found as a HW positive stray in AL a few weeks back.. After treatment and getting neutered, he was finally able to travel north to his current foster home. We are keeping Hank on restricted play time for 2 more weeks, but that just means more time for snuggles and command training! Hank is thought to be a 1 to 2 year old shepard mix at approx 52#. He is sweet and affectionate with his foster family and has no issues with the resident dogs or cat. There are no children in the foster home, but no concerns are apparent except that he does love attention and is easily excited. While in foster care we are working on crate training but he does appear to be housebroken. Hank is now UTD on vaccines, neutured, a HW survivor and fostered in Carlisle PA. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
