About Hati

Adoption Fee: $ 150
Siberian Husky / Alaskan Malamute
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Hati and his brother Skoll, both males, were rescues from the Wichita Animal Shelter. They are brothers and came in as strays so we have no history on them. When they first came to our shelter on May 26th, they were both very stressed, nervous, scared and pretty much inseparable. As they settled in and began to trust us a little more, we were able to separate them and both now seem to be comfortable with that arrangement. Although they have been fearful, neither dog has shown any aggression during this adjustment period. Hati is slightly larger and has progressed a little faster than Skoll. Neither dog walks very well on the leash (strong pullers0, but that is improving and both dogs know to stop and sit if requested. Skoll is afraid of loud noises or too much activity so his walks are challenging. Both of these dogs need a home with a good, but patient, leader. Preferably someone with some dog training or handling skills and an adult only home or at least no young children. We also prefer they be in a fenced yard or on leash when outside as both are very independent minded dogs. If you've owned a Husky before, you probably understand. They are both neutered, have current vaccinations, and are microchipped. Beautiful boys !
