Staffordshire Terrier, female, about 2 years old from Texas. When she got off the truck in Washington. she knew her name when called and how to sit. In just six weeks' time, she has learned a lot! She knows many commands and is very responsive to learning; Melanie/Tippi is an intelligent and easy-going dog. She is very responsive to treats with training. She is house trained and has learned how to use a doggie door. She has so much energy and is still a puppy at heart for sure! She enjoys walks, although the leash training still needs some work, and plays well with other dogs. She has been going to a local doggie daycare to learn good socialization skills with other animals. Gets along well with other dogs however could squabble with another dog over resources such as treats that drop between the two dogs, Bora from PawsVIP , has worked with her toy aggression, training with sharing toys, and has been very responsive to the training. Depending on your dog's personality. She is crate trained up to between 2-3 hours so far. She will add tons ofpositive energy and fun to your home. Melanie is all heart and a very affectionate, fun-loving, sweet sweet dog. We need to add that Tippi has pray instinct. Not sure she'd be good in a home with cats, birds or small dogs She had killed two small baby birds in my yard. Barks at people on the street when we are in the car Looking for someone who is very active to continue her training on the leash and commands, has a fenced yard. will keep her socialized with other dogs, which she loves, daycare twice to four times a week or fenced dog park. We walk her on a Wonder Walker with hook leash on front ring Feed her homemade food, beef, chicken, carrots, green beans, and Fromm kibble. They will need treats on hand for training to get started to set up a meet, please fill out this link https://lp4rrockies.wufoo.com/forms/qa0qut21foyx3u/
