About Hank

Handsome hound Hank is hopeful that he will hurry into a new home. And he will howl with happiness when it happens! Hank's a sweet, 45 pound hound mix who is about 3 years old. He loves walking and playing and entertaining his humans as much as caninely possible. Oh, and he loves to sing, as all hounds do! Hank was originally found abandoned in the street, likely due to poor hunting skills (he's more of a lover than a hunter). He found soon found himself at a local kill shelter, which was very scary. Just in the nick of time, a kind lady pulled him and has fostered him ever since. He's a bit stressed by the males dogs in the household, and would prefer a home with just a dog or two, preferably female. He's friendly with children, but due to his lack of exposure with cats, needs a home without them. Hank's a cutie, and ready for a new home and family. Hank said he's sorry about his shedding. His foster mom's been brushing him, but it's just that time of year--his coat is beautiful, though! He's neutered, HW/Lyme negative, and current on vet care.
