'Hiya! My name is Mushroom and I'm your new best friend! I am a senior guy, at around 8-9 years old and am looking to keep that spot on your sofa nice and warm for ya! I came to SVASC as a stray and was never reclaimed, so I would love to find one of those families that people have been talking about. I previously lived outdoors only as a community cat and while I didn't mind chasing mice and sunbathing, I'm quite used to being indoors now and would like to keep that up. Don't let me age scare you away, I'm still pretty active and can totally go for playtime every now and then. Staff at SVASC say that I'm super affectionate and talkative. I'll let you know when I'm needing some attention. I am good with other kitties, but really prefer slower introductions. Speak of, I might take a little bit to settle into my new home, but don't worry, that's totally normal! I'm sure that as soon as I get comfortable, I'll be ready to rule my roost. I am good with kids and shouldn't have any issues adjusting to a home with kiddos at all. My adoption fee is $35 to an approved adopter.
