About Annie

Location: Lone Oak, TX; Age: ~4.5 yrs; This is Annie, she was part of a hording case with her mother and father that we rescued late 2019. She is the smallest of the three she probably will not be much over 100 pounds. Annie is super sweet, right now, she is very afraid of everything. When she first came into the rescue, she would 'Army Crawl' everywhere because she was so afraid. She still spooks easy and seems not to have a lot of confidence yet, but it will come! Annie gets along just fine with all of our pets, and loves to play with the puppies. She is very intelligent, and very alert. It has taken the longest to earn Annie's trust, and I have spent a lot of time with her. The current foster does not have many people coming, and going, so she seems to be a little leery of others. We believe Annie will be best in a home that is quiet and mellow. Annie is well behaved, and does not get into things, and she will not tear anything up. She walks on a leash with a harness, however, we still cannot get a regular collar on her, without her getting spooked. Annie is currently potty-pad trained, because we are unable to let her out as often as the others. Annie will sit with you forever, and let you pet her. Annie has absolutely no aggression whatsoever; we have been able to clip her nails without any issues. She has no problem sharing food even with the puppies. Annie is micro-chipped, heart-worm negative, up to date on all vaccinations, and spayed.
