About Kiwi

Meet little Kiwi! Kiwi came from a�%A0 hoarding situation so he may take a minute when it comes to getting attention and affection but after he gets to know you, he is stuck by your side. In fact, after just spending 30 minutes or so with him and moving slowly, Kiwi will hop in your lap and look up at you with the most appreciative eyes. And after that moment, he is stuck to you like glue. Kiwi crates well and is quickly picking up leash training and house training. He loves other dogs and does fine with cats. Kiwi's adopters will�%A0 need to know that it will take some time for him to feel fully comfortable in his new home. He will be a flight risk for awhile as his instinct is to cower and run so a home where he cannot escape the house or backyard is needed to keep him safe. We do recommend Kiwi go to a home without small children or very active homes as he is still getting used to how friendly humans are and gets frightened by sudden movements.
