About Gunnar

Hello! This is Gunnar. I'm not going to lie, he's an asshole. He is a two year old Chocolate Australian Cattle Dog who is neutered. We have his mom and dad on site and when his original home decided he wasn't a cute puppy anymore, they gave him back to us. We have tried very hard to correct his naughty behavior but he just doesn't do well with our other dogs. They keep attacking him even though they are his parents. He doesn't like cats....at all. He tries very hard to play fetch but he just cant get it down. He would rather play keep away. He is leash trained, house trained and is very sweet when he is alone. He should probably not be around small children and would do really well with one person. He is very solid in stature and if you give him any kind of treats, he loves you. He tends to be very nervous around new people but if you give him sausage, chicken, steak, asparagus, pineapple or really anything he will love you forever. We need to rehome him mostly so he stops getting attacked. He will have to go to someone with a pretty active lifestyle because he can literally run all day and not be tired. This is part of his anxiety. We are active but it never seems to be enough for him. He would be an excellent hiking buddy!! He comes to the names Gunnar, Gun, G and what the actual f***.
