Piper - 6 year old spayed female. She is beautifully marked. She does not get along with other dogs in the home. She wants all your love. She is a typical female Great Pyrenees. The term Regal comes to mind. She is shy at first but great with people and kids once she knows you. Good at the vets and groomers. Good with cats. Not good with small animals like guinea pigs or chickens. Rides Quietly in the car Walks well on a leash. She has been vetted and we had her hips checked. She just needed more exercise so we signed her up for a weekly underwater treadmill visit at Fitter Critters in Lee, Mass for a month. Spa treatment! She has graduated and is shown here with her graduation medal. www.fittercritters.org . She has gained muscle and weight and is a beauty. https://photos.app.goo.gl/TDAa5cdpHYBntrFHA treadmill video, If you are interested go to the site and fill out an application. The adoption fee is $400 due to cost of medical needs of our dogs. $450 for Dogs 12 months and under. You will receive a copy of their medical records when you adopt. If you have never had a Pyr Puppy you need to read this : http://www.nepyresq.org/page/i-want-a-great-pyrenees-puppy-50.html. We do not accept INVISIBLE fencing for the following reasons: 1) Most Pyrs ignore the pain and go through it. 2) This is a guardian breed and this fencing does not keep people or other animals out of your yard. The Pyr could take them as a threat or be attacked by them. Most of these dogs are not a dog park breed. They bark a lot and can bother your neighbors.
