About Shia and Cassidy

Shia (male) is on the left and Cassidy (female) is on the right. These buns were dumped in a woodsy area and left to fend for themselves against owls, hawks and coyotes. I was able to hand grab both of them to rescue them. No small feat! Shia has gorgeous silver-tipped fur which is hard to see in pictures. I thought he was a girl when first rescued and the original name was Cheyenne but we had to change it to Shia when it was discovered he was a boy. Oh well! He sure does love his head rubbed. And miss Cassidy! She took about three weeks of befriending, cajoling, sweet talking, clearing brush and leaves as well as skillful maneuvering on a slope before I was able to finally nab her. She was good at hiding from predators as usually white buns don't last that long outside. This delightful duo know their names and respond accordingly. They love time outside their x-pen to do zoomies and binkies. Give them a blanket and they are likely to burrow underneath it! Chilling beneath their hide-y box is a favorite past time too! These sweet, docile, cuddlebuns are sure to warm your heart and put a smile on your face! If Shia and Cassidy can't be free roaming or live in a room or a section of a room, then an x-pen enclosure or home made DIY wire grid system enclosure is a suitable alternative.
