Meet DiscoverMe Dog SADIE | AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION | SO CAL ONLY PLEASE ---- Introducing Miss Sadie from Orange County! One ear up, one ear down, that's how you'll always find her. Sadie is a quiet observer, taking in all the sights and sounds, and making sure she knows where the food is at all times! She's a calm 7 year old and her temp foster mama says she's an independent gal who doesn't mind spending her days chillin' until the next walk. She gets excited to go outside and loves to take her time to smell the flowers. She does well on a leash and never pulls! Sadie has one eye that's a little larger than the other - her foster mama says it doesn't seem to bother her too much but an adopter should have it examined right away. She seems to be slightly vision impaired on that side. Sadie is completely house and crate trained, and she's been a perfect gem in her temp foster home! She's still coming out of her shell everyday, now seeks out attention and returns to her cozy bed when she's had enough pets. We think Sadie would do best in an adult home with a private yard where she can roam and explore all the smells! She can be quite shy and nervous with new people and other dogs, so a low foot traffic environment where she can be your one and only furry love would be best. She's an easy keeper, doesn't require much, just some people that will take good care of her and keep her safe and loved. While in foster care, we're able to learn more about the dog or cat when in a normal home environment, which doesn't always align with behavior seen in a stressful kennel environment. We share that valuable information with shelter staff and potential adopters in order to aid shelter marketing and adopter selection. Through rigorous marketing and promotion, we ultimately hope not to return the DiscoverMe Dog or DiscoverMe Cat to the shelter but instead to see that animal safely in the care of a forever family or reputable rescue with a foster care provider.
