About Millie

This is Millie she was originally adopted from us as a baby (Imelda). She is a Dogo Argentino Mix - and before you message us yes we know that is not what she is listed as but Rescue me does not have that as a breed option. She is a little over a year old. She was returned as she is going blind due to genetics and the vet advised the owner that she would get nippy the more of her sight she lost - they had small children and decided not to risk it. She was already getting nippy with the husband. She has completed her basic obedience class and has graduated. She is housebroken. She gets along good with other dogs. No cat information. We would like to find her an experienced blind dog home before she completely looses her vision so she can be settled in before that time comes. It would be great if their was another dog in the house to act as her eyes. A dog born blind versus a dog going blind requires some special attention to help them with the transition as their world is turned upside down.
