RIPPLE had a very tough beginning, and he is extremely shy and timid with new people and situations. To be his best self, he needs a loving and kind guardian, a safe and generally quiet or calm environment and a friendly resident dog to show him the ropes and help with confidence building. He's a smart pup, knows some commands, crate and leash trained and housebroken with the occasional accident. RIPPLE is in an awesome foster home. His foster mom shares the following: 'I'M IN LOVE WITH SWEET RIPPLE!! Sometimes he is quiet and docile, a go-with-the-flow pup. He's quite content to snuggle up on the couch for a nap and chew on a bone. He also loves to play with other dogs and run around the yard with a ball in his mouth. He runs beautifully and he's super fast. He loves to chase dogs as well as play fetch. He is a sensitive soul and needs a little time and encouragement to trust new people, places and things. Once well acquainted, he is his friendly, happy, loving self. He would be happiest in a relatively calm home. He would be a perfect dog for an empty nester or semi or fully retired couple who has a friendly resident pup and a large fenced in yard where they can romp and play.
