About Chance

Chance's Story is one unlike any of our other dogs, because it begins in a small town called Hatillo Palma, in Dominican Republic. Because of the condition he was in when we found him in August 2019, it took some time to get him better and get him everything he needed before being cleared to travel to the United States. Before arriving January 29th, 2020 to Miami, Chance spent his entire life on a chain. It was very clear that he needed training, and a lot of it and so we placed him in a Board & Train Program which he is still in and his progress has been phenomenal! He now understands certain commands, does very well on the leash, and is now able to understand when his behavior needs correcting. With all his progress we feel confident that Chance is finally ready for the home environment that he's never had. We put compatibility unknown for otehr dogs, because his play energy is intense so if placed with another dog it would have to be a dog who matches his energy level. But he has never shown aggression towards another dog. No cats preferred as we have never had cats around him. Chance would be better with older children, not toddlers also because of his energy. Chance is a sweet boy, who is crate trained, and is eager to please his human. He is still learning how to receive human affection since sadly, it is so new to him. Please consider giving Chance the home and affection dogs like him dream of. He has come a very long way and deserves his happily ever after
