About TOOTIE

Hi! My name is Tootie. (You may have seen me listed as Baloo, but we learned that my name used to be Tootie, so we kept it that way.) My foster mom calls me 'Tootie Booty' and it makes me so happy! I am a small, fluffy lover boy! My favorite things in lifeare being pet, food, and my orthopedic bed. I like to hang around my family, but I also like my alone time since I get tired pretty quickly. Sometimes I snore, but I promise I'm not that loud! I've been through a lot, but I warm up fast. I had 14 teeth pulled and a broken jaw from an untreated infection when CTSS first rescued me. I have all 4 of my canines and will be eating soft food for the rest of my life. I think that's pretty cool, though,because it's the tastiest. My jaw is still healing, so I'm taking some medication to manage my pain, and I also take a joint supplement once per day because they think I have arthritis. I can be a little grumpy when in pain, but most of the time I just walkaway when I'm uncomfortable. I like people a lot. I will come up to you and nudge for pets and give you soft kisses. I may bark when I see someone approaching the door, but after a sniff, I am all about the love! I'm pretty low maintenance. I know how to potty outside and on potty pads,and am learning to enjoy my crate. I'm not sure about kids because I haven't been around them yet. I like other dogs, but would also be OK with being an only dog. He is around 13 lbs and estimated 10-11 years young. Tootie is an incredible little survivor who deserves the best home...is that you?
