Thank You for your cooperation*** WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around the US and Canada, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Renton, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Chase Quick Pay, PayPal, or cash. Baby Huey was abandoned and came to us in need of medical attention for a neglected skin condition. He is receiving medicated baths and good nutrition and is on his way toward healing. This sweet boy has been living in a kennel and doesn't understand why nobody is coming to get him. Baby Huey is a well rounded, playful love bug. He likes other dogs, is good walking on a leash and rides well in the car. He is super affectionate and loves attention and human interaction. Baby Huey has his special doggie bed and needs it to sleep in. He has not been around young children but is ok with older kids. We have not had him around cats. It is always up to the new family to be responsible with introducing new pets and in all interactions with pets and children. As with all rescue pups, he will need some work with potty training and general obedience. Baby Huey is about 2 years old years old and weighs aprox. 89 lbs. Based on his appearance we believe he is a Pit Bull Terrier. He has been neutered, is current on all vaccines including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, and rabies. Baby Huey is microchipped, has been wormed and is bathed with a medicated shampoo for his skin. This big guy has been through some rough times and is depending on us to find him the best forever home possible. With that in mind we are looking for a home where someone is home majority of the day and won't leave him alone or crated all day. He needs a home that is able to be patient with the transition, willing to work with a trainer if necessary, and able to give him unconditional love. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed by a meet and greet. Once we find the right home for each pup we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people who are not ready to commit.
