About Roxie

Roxie is a 9 month old, under 10 lb, chihuahua/terrier mix. We estimate she will stay under 12lbs when fully grown. She is the life of the party. She is a little spitfire. Great with other dogs & cats. House trained. Good on leash & in the car. Roxie came to us through our friends at Hope For Paws after she was surrendered with a broken leg. She's almost fully healed and will make a full recovery. She's a bit weary of young children - we suspect she had a bad experience with kids so it takes a little time for her to trust them. She has an identity crisis, she thinks she's a German Shepherd and head of security. So if she's on your lap she is not going to allow anyone to get near you. She is all talk and since she's still a kid, she'll get over this with some guidance. She is available for adoption. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization.��%BD%A0 Adoption process includes an adoption contract and home check.��%BD%A0 Adoption fee for dogs is $350 - 550 and for cats is $175.��%BD%A0 All of our animals are fixed, vaccinated, and chipped.
