About Jax

Domestic Cat
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Jax has quite the story! Jax came from a community where we were trying to trap and fix outdoor community cats. We did get him once but put him back because he belonged to a human over there. Then, poisoning started. The colony caretaker, with our help, retrapped and relocated everyone. %BD%BD%BC Jax was a friendly, we were full, so she asked someone else to please take him. Well, that didn't go as planned. His timeline between going to these people and coming to us went like this: transferred to a foster, let out of a room, got scared and hid in the basement rafters, fell in a wall, got cut out of a wall, 'captured,' decided they didn't want him anymore, left at a vet clinic, tech let him out and he ran around the office, sedated, transferred to another rescue, put in a dark damp basement, became fractious. How could we not take him??? Jax came to us. We gave him soft blankets, cozy beds, time.... when he had decompressed we gave him love! He still gets jumpy at times with loud noises and fast movements, but he has healed his soul and he is ready to meet you! We want Jax to have a lifetime of stable love. He would probably acclimate pretty much anywhere. However we think a quieter household would be the easiest for him to be in. A household with teenage children or just adults. Maybe a single person%BD'%BD| Somebody that has love and kindness pouring out of their soul. He's a really good boy. He's been through so much%BD'%BD| Isn't he handsome!?! Want to meet him? %BD%BD%BC *We respond to all inquiries so please check your bulk or spam email folders if you do not see a response from us*
