Please don't let her die in that shelter ! There has to be somebody for sweet Gertie�٪%8F��%8F��٪%8F��%8F� The caretakers at my SHELTER look SO SAD and say that I NEED DOGGIE HOSPICE. ���� One staff said 'she does not have very long' ���� I just know that I feel super tired and my arthritis makes my body ache. I WISH I had a soft couch and a LOVING HUMAN(s)! ���� GERTIE the ROTTIE NEEDS US!���� ��%90� LONG ISLAND, NY ��%90� ��%90%BE URGENT NEED for HOSPICE! ��%90%BE ��ٴ ONLY PET ���� KIDS 13 and up ��ٴ ��ٴ MAY have RESCUE backup for an approved foster (where rescue would cover medical) ��ٴ ���� 9 yo GERTIE has been in a LONG ISLAND, NY shelter since SEPTEMBER! Shelter staff report that she URGENTLY NEEDS OUT! She is reportedly VERY SWEET but still needs to be your ONLY PET and have an experienced owner. KIDS - TEENS and up. No one knows how Gertie lived prior to being found as a STRAY last year. ���� Sadly, no one came to reclaim her!���� Regardless of her past, she DESERVES LOVE and DIGNITY in this the final chapter of her life. Gertie has heartworms and she was treated for it. However, she is in HEART FAILURE. She also has ARTHRITIS. The SHELTER VET has told staff that GERTIE doesnt have very long (did not provide how long).���� Let's find her a QUIET, LOVING HOME so that she has a family -- for how ever much time she does have. Gertrude has rescue interest that may pull her and cover medical if an appropriate local foster is found.
