About Long John Silver

'Shiver me timbers, matey, are you here to adopt me? I would really love to find myself the forever home of my own. My name is Long John Silver and I'm a 4 year old Foxhound/Beagle that came to SVASC as a stray. I was pretty skinny when I arrived, but I'm working on putting on some much needed weight. I have gained some extra weight and you can really tell that I am feeling much better now! I'm a very playful dog and love playing tug; I'm even pretty good at fetch! I'm still working on learning my manners, but I'm sure that I'll be a pro in no time. My previous foster mom worked really hard with me on my manners and I am now mostly crate and house-trained! I am great with other dogs and enjoy playgroups too! I am also good with kiddos. I would do best in a home without any kids please.
