Name: Merkel Age: 1 year old Breed: Shih Tzu mix Neutered Male Meet Merkel a 1 year old male Shih Tzu mix. His coat was too matted to brush out & needed to be shaved and now he feels so much better as it was difficult for him to walk & he had sores under the matts. Merkel was picked up as a stray out west in a small community, placed in a shelter then came into rescue. Merkel is very friendly & loves to play & snuggle. Does well with young children & nice dogs. Does well on lead & continues to improve potty skills. Neutered, heartworm negative & on prevention, current on vaccinations & microchip. Suggested adoption donation $350-450.
