About Jack

Jack is a 14 year old Shih Tzu mix. he weighs 16.4 pounds. Jack was turned into a remote shelter out in Kansas at the age of 4. He spent 10 years in that shelter. He is a very sweet and loving old man that is very grateful for his final freedom. He loves to be petted and he likes to sleep a lot. He will potty outside if you take him out frequently. He spent a lot of time in a kennel so he is used to holding it. He has some arthritis and a level 6 heart murmur. He also has dry eye in his left eye, which requires frequent eye drops.. Walter does not always like to be messed with and will snip if you annoy him. He is also very afraid of thunderstorms and will seek out your comfort in the midst. Walter is looking for a calm home to spend the last chapter of his life in. If your heart goes out to the seniors, this guy is sure deserving.
