About A1918985 *URGENT**

American Staffordshire Terrier
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Bravo! Bravo! That's what many will shout if/when BRAVO (#A1918985) leaves the shelter, where he has been since January 1 (Happy New Year?), 2020. This 5-year-old was surrendered, per the owner, because he 'bit another dog in the past and not a person, and is [suppose] to be aggressive to people'. He is currently at the East Valley Animal Shelter in Van Nuys, CA. BRAVO has been on the shelter's RED LIST since April 20. Mind you, I have not met BRAVO, but I did inquire about him, because something in his expressive eyes touch me. The notes that I received are mixed, from 'easy to leash' to 'use extreme caution, especially women'; to 'while doing rounds Bravo will not allow you get [sic] approach his cage without lunging and trying to bite'; to 'allowed ACT supervisory SC to approach, wagging tail, soft body language'. (A copy of the notes is included in the comments.) Who is going to call the shelter and set up an appointment to meet and interact with BRAVO? Whomever rescues/adopts him will be a life-saver, and Bravo to you.
