About Alvin and Happy

*THIS IS A SENIOR BONDED PAIR* Alvin (13) and Happy (15) lost their lifelong home and found themselves at the shelter where Runners For Rescues fell in love with them while running 3 miles, (yes they can go 3 miles!) on Saturdays. One of the runner's reached out to us to see if we could spring them from the shelter and we couldn't bare to think about them spending their golden years without a home. With the help of a foster home stepping up to take them in, we welcomed them into Encore! We fully realize that it's a tall order to rehome an elderly bonded pitty couple but are willing to take on the challenge! Now we need your help sharing them far and wide to help find their forever family so they can live the rest of their lives together and loved! Happy is a dream of a dog and is super chill, living up to her name. Alvin is a little more of a mischievous fella who has had a little bit of a harder time acclimating but he is such a lover, he just wants all the attention! They both walk amazing on a leash and are good with other pups!
