About Cooper

A little background on this young boy. He has been with his original female owner since he was 8 weeks old. He is now around 2 years old. She recently married and became pregnant and this boy became protective of her shortly after. He has not showed any aggressive behaviors towards owners. They do have another dog in the house that he has started to show some behaviors to but it is believed to be because he is protective over the baby that is on the way. Owner is due to be induced on Tuesday and husband wants dog removed from home and plans to take him to Randolph County Animal Shelter as soon as they begin taking in animals again where he will have a very high chance of being euthanized because he is anxious and because of the current behavior he has exhibited. He is not up to date on vaccines but that will be sponsored and paid for if adopted. He is not neutered which could possibly explain some of his issues as well. I believe he will be fine with other dogs his size of course with slow introductions. Please give this young boy a chance, He has not had a chance to live yet, If interested please reach out to me and I will get you in contact with owner. Would be best suited for home with older children as he tends to get anxious and not like lots of commotion.
