About Duke

Duke is a 2 year old mix of 47 pounds of love! We were told mom was a beagle and our vet believes he might have some lab in him. Whatever he is, he is LOYAL to his people! He is neutered, chipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and current on heartgard and nexgard. Duke should be an only dog, he needs to work with a trainer to be around other dogs. We are not sure of his history, but he does show some concerning signs. He does well with dominant cats and children but if a home with small children is interested, Duke should sleep in a crate or not be touched while sleeping. Again, we dont know his history and it breaks our hearts that he is like this. In his waking hours, hes the sweetest dog and he is so obedient! Duke is oddly shaped for 47 pounds, but he loves to run around! He loves to go for walks and can match your pace. He will also be just as happy cuddled up on the couch after a long day.
