Bosko is a 10 year old neutered yorkshire terrier who came to the rescue after his daddy died in October and then his mommy died in April. His sister was adopted by someone but Bosko was left all alone in the house grieving for his family, furry and human. Family and friends came over every other day to feed him but they did not provide the attention he needed. A family friend reached out to save Bosko because she was so distraught with his situation. BYTR took him in so that we can help him heal the heart and the body. Bosko has cataracts in both eyes, so he doesn't have full vision. We are now providing eyedrops for him and it is helping significantly and he gets around just fine. He also had a very bad yeast infection all over his body and he has been having medicated baths and healing slowly but surely. He was in some kind of altercation with a family member's dog and his jaw was broken. It was left to heal but, unfortunately, the jaw bone disintegrated and he has no jaw up front. None of these challenges slows him down though and he is a total character. Loves his walks with his foster buddies, enjoys his dips in the pool, eats well (on a raw diet), digs through the toy box for toys and bones, plays, protects the house (along with his fosters siblings), loves to cuddle and can get around very well.
