About Luna

Luna is the sweetest girl and we are so happy she is here. She had Pyometra at the shelter and had surgery to remove her infected Uterus. And as if that wasnt bad enough, she couldnt stand or walk for long periods of time and was having a hard time. We have already taken her to our vet where we ran a blood panel and had radiographs done of her spine and hips. After the specialist read them, it was determined she has slight hip dysplasia and arthritis and has a bit of inflammation around her joints. We have her on Dasaquin and its helped quite a bit. Luna can get around easily however she will never be a very active dog due to her hips. We are seeking a fairly mellow household without other pets or small children due to her medical issues. Living life in the slow lane is exactly what the doctor ordered. She is potty trained and crate trained and walks well on a leash. If you would like to meet Luna, please let us know! We are waiving her adoption fee to an approved home since she will have to be on supplements for the rest of her life which run approx $100 every couple of months.
