About Ellie

Ellie is the cattle dog you've been looking for! Loving, loyal, energetic, playful, silly and always eager to please. Ellie will play with balls, toys, other dogs (any & all), people, sticks and shadows. The girl loves life and loves to play! She has energy to burn and will play as long as she has someone or something to play with. But she will stop on a dime for some affection! Loves nothing more than making a connection with her humans. She's eager to do (whatever) and smart enough to figure out how you want her to do it. Ellie is great on a leash and makes the perfect jogging or hiking partner. The more activity, the better, for this girl. Not a mean bone in her body. She loves people and other dogs as well. Ellie knows her name, how to SIT and is fully crate trained. She does well on a leash and looks forward to a lifetime of new adventures with her very own family. Likes: Playing with people Playing with other dogs Walks/Hiking Affection Dislikes: (Possibly) Livestock - barks at the potbellied pigs through the fence. Seems to be 'controllable' prey drive but something to keep an eye on. Didn't react to cats though.
