*** ADOPTION PENDING *** Needs ��%BD'� Children 8+. Peppy Pepper is an adorable 12-week-old, 15lb Black Labrador/Terrier mix who has a zest for life. A day in the life of Pepper: play in grass... nap... play in shade... nap... repeat/repeat/repeat. Then top it all off with lots of puppy snuggles and oh boy does Pepper love to give and receive snuggles! Her peppery colored black fur with touches of creamy white is so smooth and sleek and just makes for the most delicious puppy cuddles. Sweet, good-hearted & fun-loving Pepper adores everyone she meets. She especially enjoys running and playing with her furry foster sister. This sweetie pie is also living and coexisting nicely with 3 kitties in her foster home. Smart Pepper is already learning some of her basic commands; she learned to sit and to give her paw for a shake in one day! Like all puppies Pepper's age, she is still working on her house training but with the loving guidance of her foster family and when kept on a schedule she is starting to get the hang of it. Already crate trained, Pepper is a champ and sleeps through the night. Pepper is in the developmental stage of exploring the world with her mouth and will also be teething with sharp teeth for quite some time to come. Please do not apply if you have children under age 8 or, if they are older, who will not be able to tolerate this. With a personality packed full of sweetness Pepper is sure to bring so much joy and happiness into her new family's life. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources.
