About Beckah

Hi! My name is Beckah ���S I am a full of sunshine kind of soul that loves to make my people smile! I've had a rough past life but came through it with the determination and will to always look on the bright side of things and I love to share that with everyone! I adore people, I've never met a stranger. I love to play with doggie friends my size or smaller (big ones tend to hurt me even when they don't mean to). I don't mind cats and I even get along with an inside pet pig! I LOVE to go for walks or could even be a jogging buddy. Trips in the car are sooo cool too and I love being on my foster's pontoon boat soaking up the sun. Snuggles on the sofa are dreamy and I absolutely melt into soft round doggie beds. I love my vet and I don't mind baths. I am a full Beagle, around 22lbs and about 4 years old with a beautiful saddleback coloration, a very feminine face and long soft Beagly ears with a great Bay (beagle bark). I am spayed, microchipped and utd on everything! I was hurt a couple years ago in an incident that left my spine injured, and at the time my rescuers saved me I had been paralyzed from the waist down for some time. I was in terrible pain yet didn't want to give up hope! My rescuers saw that I wanted to live, and bless them all, they gave me the chance! Through their care, my determination, and our team, I am so proud to say that I am fully functioning (though have my own way of doing things) and proud of it! I have a mandatory once a month visit to a Doggie Acupuncturist/Chiropractor (but wouldn't we all love to have my special need for that visit lol) I've been told my time in rehab is over and I have graduated to the point where I can now find my very own long-term foster or maybe even an adoptive forever home! So I'm reaching out to you to help me on the next step! To make sure that everyone is the best possible fit - my Rescuer's would like for my potential home to meet the following criteria ���� BEFORE inquiring. ��%BC Adore Beagles ��%BC Have Beagle Knowledge ��%BC Have a Fenced Yard ��%BC Either be at home a lot OR to take me with them to work OR leave me in fenced yard with a doggie friend ��%BC Must not have another dog over 25lbs unless very sedentary and lazy ��%BC Foster must live in NC/VA, East TN, upstate SC etc. ��%BC Adopter may inquire from a further distance I may have a few special needs but I can assure you that you'll never find another as special as me!
