About Hemingway

Hemingway is a handsome Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd mix (2.5 yo, ~40 lbs, neutered). His mom was a red Aussie Shepherd and his dad a Blue Heeler. He's house-trained and is a high-energy dog that needs activity or a job to do. I would love to find him a warm home where there is room for him to run or an owner that is also very active. He is accustomed to being an inside dog with outside play time, walks and hikes. Hemingway gets along with kids and most dogs - loves to play and chase a ball. While being more on the submissive side, he can get territorial at times (growling/barking); I'm not sure what upsets him. He is chatty/vocal when he wants to express himself. He loves to cuddle and is very sweet. He knows his basic commands (sit, down, off, kennel up). He has had no medical issues to date and had his most recent shots in December 2019.
