About Panther

German Shepherd / Lab
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

COURTESY LISTING: Panther / A1581945: Scheduled For Euthanasia !!! NEEDS RESCUE BY 5/28/2020 !!! It's #MustSaveMeMonday and today is a #MemorialDay Special because our girl Panther is as cute a button... which makes it difficult to believe she is need of rescue by Thursday 5/28/2020 before facing euthanasia :O Panther was surrendered by her owners on 4/11/2020 due to attacking a recently purchased puppy. According to the information from owners, a week after purchasing the new puppy both dogs were playing in the front yard when Panther picked up the puppy form the neck. At that time one of the owners pulled the dog from Panther's mouth which possibly caused a wound to the puppys back upon removal. Sadly, when the dog was taken to the vet it was determined the dog should be euthanized. Panther also lived with two other small dogs before the family purchased the 4th puppy, so it's a little difficult to understand why someone would add more dogs to their home when they didn't have proper structure in the home from the start. Additionally, Panther was the only full sized dog in a home with 2 little dogs, and now another small puppy. With no other dogs her own size, or proper exercise outside of trotting in the backyard with little dogs (she is a german shepherd mix after all and they need A LOT more exercise and enrichment compared to small toy breed dogs) it's difficult to understand how a family could not see a problem like this eventually unfold :( It's definitely worth noting that Panther has been involved in multiple playgroup tests with DOGS HER OWN SIZE and all have been overall positive. Panther is very receptive to people of all ages and sizes having lived with kids as young as 8 years old. We need to help Panther find her #HappilyEverAfter, she only has until Thursday 5-28-2020 to find an adopter/foster or rescue before he faces euthanasia :O It only takes one person in the right situation and environment to help spare Oreo from euthanasia and enjoy his life with a new family. Could that be you?!?!? Panther #A1581945 Kennel: 620 Sex: Unaltered Female Age: 2Y Weight: 60.0 Lbs Breed: Germ Shepherd And Labrador Retr Mix Color: Black Intake Date: 04/11/2020 Review Date: 05/28/2020 Jurisdiction: PLACENTIA To Be Destroyed If Not Rescued By End Of Day 5/28/2020 Panther is in desperate need of a willing adopter/foster, or a rescue commitment by a 501c3 non-profit rescue by 5/28/2020 or will be euthanized.
