About Reese

This girl is fabulous, and an absolute favorite of ours! Reese is a stunning approximately 13 month old, 55 lb Shepherd mix. She is smart, friendly, eager to learn, with puppy energy and enthusiasm. She walks well on leash, learns quickly, and wants to please. She has no reaction to other dogs while walking and looks to her handler for direction. She did well in playgroup at the shelter but hasn't been interested in socializing with our dogs here. So we think she'd do best as an only dog, and is also not a dog park dog. Reese is a fun and very loyal best friend. She will bond strongly to her person and is a pure joy to have around. She will thrive with someone who enjoys obedience training, is active and appreciates and can work with an intelligent breed like Reese. She hasn't been around children at our rescue so should go to a home with older, teenage children. No cats. If you're looking for a friendly, energetic, sweet and playful dog who is watchful and alert, Reese will be your girl.
