About Jay

Lap Dog Seeking Lap. If at least one human in your family is at home a lot and spends a good amount of time sitting down, you may be my chosen adopter! My name is Jay. Since I'm a tiny 8-lb. guy, I fit comfortably in just about any lap. I'm also very happy to take you for walks whenever you want, and I'll stay right by your side without any pulling, no matter how fast or slow you go so that it's enjoyable for us both! I'll sleep quietly in a crate at night if you wish, but of course you'll probably prefer that I snuggle with you in your bed. You don't have to worry about my house manners because I'm a mature 3-year-old fellow, who has outgrown any puppy foolishness like chewing on inappropriate things, getting into the trash, or going bonkers when the doorbell rings. And I know that potty business belongs outside, not inside. I do confess that my background has taught me that some folks can't be trusted to handle a little dog right, so I don't want just anyone to pick me up--I have to get to know you first. For the most part, I like other dogs, but sometimes big ones make me rather nervous. Actually I wouldn't mind a bit being your one-and-only dog. Would you like to see a lot more photos of me?
