About STELLA

My name is Stella. I am about four years old they say, I don't really remember. Actually my life is kind of a blur, I was roaming the streets of Texas when the doggo police shot me with the sleepy gun. I was too smart to be caught by their normal tricks. I woke up in doggo jail. Then a lady came and I thought I was so beautiful and wanted to adopt me. She seemed ok but then she got all huggy mcfeely with me - how rude!!! I didn't even know her name yet. I told her that I didn't appreciate the stranger hugs and the shelter decided no one could adopt me, oops! Tough crowd huh? (Ps I didn't even bite her I just asked her to stop with the headlock) They said only a rescue could have me because they would be able to vet potential adopters to make sure that my future owner understood Akitas and that we don't appreciate stranger hugs - but really, who wants a total stranger invading their personal space as soon as they meet you? Humans are weird! Anyway, if you give me time to get to know you before you get all touchy then we can Totally be best buds, that's not too much to ask, right? Just ask my friend in boarding, she says once I got settled in, I am a wonderful dog! So long story short, please understand my breed and respect me, that's all I ask. I will be a really good girl if you mind your manners too. I don't really hate other dogs or kids but the rescue wants to make sure that my owner has breed experience before they throw hurdles at me and I get it. But we can totally go for walkies and I promise I won't go all Cujo if we walk past kids or doggos. Please give me a chance to show you what an awesome girl I am, I really want to find my person because I hear that is the bestest thing ever and makes your whole life complete. Love, Stella??
