About Lucy

Lucy is a sweet, six month old, female black Labrador mix who loves to play. She came into our shelter along with her best pal, Ricky. Lucy is the more outgoing of the two, and helps to make Ricky feel more confident. It would be nice if they could be adopted together, but not necessary. They love playing together, but also enjoy romping with the other rambunctious pups in their playgroup. Lucy is especially sweet and enjoys the attention of volunteers and sneaking a quick kiss before running off to play again. She still needs some training but is eager to learn and very treat motivated. Because of her large size and energy, we felt she would be most suited for a family with older children. Lucy is a dog that requires plenty of exercise and attention. Daily walks and active play sessions will need to be part of her daily routine.
